One of the best things about the Disney Concert Hall is that you can climb all over it. There are stairways and walkways that allow you to go up and walk around those great sails and get some really cool photos. About the space
“I think in some respects, you could start to make the case that everyone here is now an interior designer.” Indeed, the city’s design scene has boomed, with new shops and showrooms sprouting up every month. What’s most exciting about this design renaissance, though, is the range of visions and styles represented around the city—due in part, perhaps, to the constant flow of new residents from around the country and world. Design scene is equally embracing of the primitive and the cutting-edge, the refined with the unrefined,” says Adam Blackman of Blackman Cruz, on Highland Avenue. The museum’s interior spaces are designed to adapt to a myriad of exhibitions and events. Modular elements and versatile layouts enable the seamless transformation of the museum, ensuring that it remains a dynamic and ever-evolving space.

It seems insane to us now, as we regard many Art Deco structures among the city’s most beautiful buildings, but the style had fallen out of fashion by the end of World War II. Though many structures were stuccoed over or demolished, these examples of the most beautiful Art Deco buildings in Los Angeles remain. The experience of global pandemic has brought drastic and widespread changes to our life-style, communication methods and sense of community, as well as to people-values and general ways of thinking. It has brought home to us how unpredictable "the future" really is.

The structure, now considered to be one of Tokyo’s signature works of architecture, is impressive and beautifully simple in its aesthetics at the same time. It houses two floors, with the entrance and reception on the ground floor. A staircase leads to the ‘underground’ area, where travelling exhibitions are held.
Push open its golden doors and you’ll find yourself inside one of the classiest supper clubs in town. The unprepossessing brown brick exterior of the Bradbury Building (304 Broadway at West 3rd Street) in Downtown LA, doesn't hint at its spectacular interior. Unlike the buildings on the previous pages, this is not one that you can appreciate on a drive by.
Let’s admit not just that we are influenced by such pieces, but let’s be jealous of them! The greatest masters and regular people live to the same age, so let all of us use our time to create wonderful Originals for the future,’ he continued. The exhibition centers on the design engineer Shunji Yamanaka's prototypes and robots, from initial sketches made in collaboration with fellow researchers at his university lab, through to completion. Also included are collaborative works by seven teams of designer-creators and scientist-engineers from different fields. We hope visitors will be exposed to visions of designs that advance towards a future which we cannot yet see.

The blue-green terra cotta of the adjoining Pellissier Building is a K-town landmark, but its interior earns its reputation as an Art Deco gem. The oval lobby feels as if you’ve stepped inside of a jewelry box, while the ornate auditorium dazzles with its details, namely the sunburst on the ceiling—looking closely and you’ll find that each ray resembles a skyscraper. The architectural marvel of the building, distinguished by its expansive steel roof, is the brainchild of renowned architect Tadao Ando. Eschewing the conventional box-like design, Ando's signature curved silhouette cascades elegantly towards the ground, inspiring not a sense of confinement but of comfort. 21_21 Design Sight is a museum in Roppongi in Minato, Tokyo, which opened in 2007.
